Parents can learn to crochet for and with their little ones! Bring along your infant or toddler and let them play with other children while learning to crochet. This class is geared towards the beginner crocheter. Participants will learn how to chain stitch, single, double and triple crochet, and form other types of stitch patterns. Students will begin with a basic scarf pattern and after completion participants will have the opportunity to move on to a more complicated project of their choice with guidance from our expert crochet instructors.

CLASS DETAILS: Bring 1 skein of worsted weight yarn and a size H crochet hook.

Parents can learn to knit with and for their little ones! Bring along your infant or toddler and let them play with other children while learning to knit. Geared towards the beginner knitter, participants will learn how to cast-on, knit, purl and bind-off through simple stitch patterns including stockinette, seed and garter in this class. Students begin with a basic scarf pattern and after completion will have the opportunity to move on to circular knitting with a project of their choice with guidance from our expert knitting instructors.

CLASS DETAILS: Bring 1 skein of worsted weight yarn and pair of size 7 or 8 straight needles.

Learn American Sign Language through songs and play with other parents and babies or toddlers close to your child’s age. Each week, parents will learn new vocabulary and new tunes to enhance communication with their babies! See the research come to life, as music and sign language both aid in the development of language and literacy.

CLASS DETAILS: If you plan to enroll in the class for 6 weeks to 8 months, please be sure your child is pre-crawling on the first day of class.

Parents help their children build social skills as they experience painting, collaging, sculpture and more. Classes introduce children to developmentally appropriate experiences while exploring a variety of media and techniques. This class may be taken with Music & Movement.

CLASS DETAILS: Children must be accompanied by a caregiver ready to participate in class activities. Children must be 16 months old on the first day of class.

Parents help their children build social skills and experience rhythm play, singing, music and movement. Classes are designed to introduce children to developmentally appropriate experiences while exploring a variety of musical concepts. This class may be taken with Visual Art.
